This year’s 11th POPAI Award was held in a completely different way than before: against the backdrop of the Corona infection, the organizer for the first time dispensed with the obligation to exhibit and held the award purely digitally with short videos about the exhibits.
Gissler & Pass, together with its client Teamwork Agentur für angewandtes Marketing, scored again: The ‘Monster Bike’, the 1:1 replica of the Yamaha R1, was nominated for the coveted award!
The POS presentation, which is aimed primarily at the young, racing enthusiast target group, stands out as an absolute eye-catcher in the trade thanks to its sleek, true-to-the-original design.
In addition to its visual persuasiveness, the motorcycle replica is backed by a sophisticated design: when disassembled and packaged, the POS set maintains a belt width of just 80 cm. What’s more, the motorcycle can be easily and quickly assembled by any sales consultant on site in just 10 minutes.
On March 16, 2021, the meeting of the 20 independent jurors from brand, retail, design and science took place to evaluate the nearly 40 entries from 15 categories.
At the awards ceremony in May/June 2021, Gissler & Pass and its customer will find out whether the POS staging is awarded gold, silver or bronze.
