Gratitude and Recognition for 420 Years of Work

During the more than 133-year history of Gissler & Pass GmbH, the corrugated cardboard specialist, there has been a lengthy tradition for acknowledging employees who have been loyal to the company for several years. So on 27th October, the Restaurant Adria in Jülich/Lich-Steinstraß provided the setting for the ceremonious honouring of the 14 longest-standing employees of 2016. Read more

The employees of corrugated board specialist Gissler & Pass are known to stay with the company for many years. It’s on that note that, on 18 November, Obbendorf Castle in Niederzier-Hambach provided the right backdrop for the festive tribute paid to the 21 jubilarians in 2015.

Managing directors Thomas Gissler-Weber and Manfred Schlapps expressed their gratitude and recognition to the jubilarians for 25 or even 40 years of solidarity and loyalty. As a thank-you, Thomas Gissler-Weber and Manfred Schlapps presented honorary certificates and needles. Read more

Certificate awards ceremony at Gissler & Pass

During the certificate awards ceremony held on 5 August 2016, Gissler & Pass’s commercial and human resources managers congratulated four apprentices from the Jülich and Rodenberg location on having completed the training. Leonard Krummen (packaging technology), Regina Geis, Maik Ptok and Tobias Welsch (industrial clerks).

Having had an active hand in shaping their own apprenticeship, the rookies played a part in different departments, in which they proved their creativity and team spirit. “It’s a great pleasure for us paving the way for apprentices this dedicated by offering them profound and comprehensive training so that they can have a successful career entry,” says managing director Thomas Gissler-Weber.
